Can someone explain what means channels on demand?
Seen this announcement by a certain service.
"these channels are on demand meaning they don't connect to the source unless they are live, this means they can take 15-20 secs to load."

Means they only start streaming when someone is on the channel, as opposed to just streaming constantly regardless. So when you click on the channel the server starts the channel up and it can take 15-20 seconds for you to connect to it.
Ask your certain service ;)
Thanks for the answers, now it make sense to me
What they have said to you is correct. If the channels are not popular they don't preload them so they can save on bandwidth. It means when you click on it the stream has to start and that's why they take a little longer to load that's all.
