My IPTV provider switches between 2 playlists (typically when a server needs to be reset, etc), and I'm trying to figure out how to save my settings (favorite channels, groups, etc), but the settings are cleared every time I switch between playlists. I can't figure out how to save the settings at all....anyone else cracked the code? :)
The channels, groups, favourites etc are kept in the file tvdata.mdb located in the work folder of the simpletv intallation.
This is an MS Access database.
You could backup this file for each of your playlists and restore the relevant one as needed.
I've tried it and it works
Edit: If you have the 2 playlist databases saved you can easily load them by using the Load Playlist option in the EPG screen and selecting the Load from SimpleTV Database tab. Select the appropriate playlist mdb file using the box at the top of the dialogue where you normally paste the m3u url.
I recommend you tick the box Full load base...
