The most expensive service you've used? How much was it and was it worth it?

by nextman6515

Just had an offer from a service that's been around for a while and had a lot of good testimonials from users in private. Although it barely gets a mention on this subreddit. Problem is its 25 quid a month. Just wondering if these "premium" services are actually worth it or just reselling a cheap product for a bigger margin.

Used one called domin8 £120 a year or £25pm with no trails all reviews was the best service ever etc gavie it a go and it turned out to be the worst service iv ever had. Don't even think I watched one event without looping/buffering /out of sync the admins Chris and Andy was the worst costomer service I experienced in iptv even banned me after complaining. So you don't allways get what you pay for

I've used a service that was close to $20 (USD) a month. It was very stable. It had a great guide. It had 'ok' support. But the picture quality was not that great.

Some of the services that charge that much have a limited subscriber base which can lead to better up times due to less connections on the server. Less subs = better customer support.

Some just price gouge.

Eternal Tv is great 10.00 5 connections. Very little buffering.

my helix is still active for free which is fantastic ive used bestbuyiptv which i love it seems as they are having some server issues which is why i only pay for 1 month of service all there abc nbc fox and cbs and my network affiliates are down

I enjoyed Gears TV while it was running. It was $25 USD for a month but I thought it was worth it

fammd

use Gotit iptv, Start iptv and Ali express all under $5/ month more than 17000 HD channels, have used for more than 6 months working great.

Yayo100

$24 but it is for 5 connections and VOD at least and the service is good actually. However, it is plenty of ones that are just as good for as low as $5

Gears is gone!

puregentleman1911

Oh Ok I see Gears is dead

It depends. If the service has 99.9% uptime, 99% of channels work all of the time, and stellar customer service that responds within half an hour and gets issues fixed immediately, then I would say it's worth that money.

Definitely do more research on services. I have 2 different services from the same person. The customer service is amazing. They always keep you informed of what's going on. The services are good too. Of course there are some down times but when u have a backup that shouldn't be an issue. Each service I have is 15.00 a month. Absolutely worth it. Even if they were 25 a month I would still do it just for the fact the customer service is amazing. You usually do not get good cms these days.

15 euros a month. Very stable except ifollow

hatrixxxx

id only pay that much if it was a very stable, private provider and limited its user base.

When I didn't know better I had a $25 service referred to me by a friend. Good picture, except for the NFL, NBA channels. They had very good customer service on the couple of times I had to contact them. As I went further down the iptv rabbit hole I found cheaper with a better picture on all channels, although the $25 one had better catch-up.

Raul_77

$15 USD a month for what I can say the best service I used. I learnt something with ipTV, if its too cheap, it buffers!

iptvdealz

25 quis seems bit on high side, but if its solid then worth it. Generally just like in life you get what you pay for. compared to what you would pay otherwise its lot cheaper

joetheblow81

Mate, 300 quid a year is silly money. I'd expect a pvr box thrown in for that much.

chrishell76

£25 is a bit steep these days, I’ve paid that before, around 5-6 years ago when iptv wasn’t as big as it is now! What service is it? Saying that I’d happily pay that if the quality, reliability and epg were top draw.

Best service I've ever used. Zero buffering, guide was 100 percent. Gears reloaded. It just worked. 19.5 usd every month.
