Currently using xciptv thinking about a switch to Tivimate. Is there a way too pause and continue watching from where I paused with one of these players? If not, is there a player which makes it possible?

Tivimate. Best app out there. And it keeps getting better. Always adding new little features.
In Tivimate..Pressing your OK button on a live channel will reveal your synopsis and previous channel selection.... Once you've done that just press up on the controller... It reveals a progress bar... Press OK and the program will pause (to restart press OK again... Or to go live scroll to the live icon on the right)... hope that helps..just make sure your Android box/Nvidia etc hasn't got a screen saver active and it should stay paused

I went with TiviMate a couple of months ago and never looked back. It is simply the best IPTV player there is. Do yourself a huge favor and make the switch.
It's $5 bucks a year dude. Can't beat it. I just learned something new about it on this thread. I didn't think you could pause live so I didn't really think about it. I just took a piss on commercials.
So yeah. Question answered. Tivimate rocks.
I use halo streams as my backup and they use SoPlayer and I can PAUSE in there and continue watching. That’s one of the best IPTV around but some people won’t pay $23 a month
ImPlayer, has pvr as well. Highly recommended. It is one time payment. I heard tons of good stuff for tvmate but lacks pvr.

So... I've got a login for xciptv... does tivimate just let you log in the same as xciptv???

If the live stream doesn't go to cache then yeah the pause feature will only take you back to live TV again. I have a service that has catch up
I have both premium TiviMate and IMPlayer. Have 3 more devices for implayer to fill but on TiviMate i can unlock premium features on as many devices as i want ;) found a little workaround. Tivimate is less buggy and will eventually have all the features implayer has.
If you only looking for pause then most players have that, but if you want pause, rewind and forward and recording then you should try CosmiDVR

Only on catch-up as far as I know. Could be wrong but none I've seen. Let me know if ya find one. I gotta piss a lot lol
Tivimate will allow pausing of live channels... Its also considered as (one of) the best IPTV players out there, well worth investing in the lifetime purchase as it has a clean interface that 'just works'..
