m3u4u.com and EPG

by codisgod73

I have two IPTV providers including one test URL and a paid URL. Both provide great quality channels but the EPGs aren't great. I tested out m3u4u.com and produced a much improved EPG.

Here's my question: my URLS have my user/pass credentials embedded in the M3U link (and throughout the xml). Should I be concerned uploading the url to the site? I have 2 concerns (1) the obvious threat of someone gaining access to my credentials, and (2) the possibility that my provider will lock me out thinking I'm trying to share the service as m3u4u downloads the xml from the provider after I provide the url.

I tested using my test account that was set to expire today - so no harm done. But I'm worried to create an epg using my paid service.

Is there a better (and still free) way to go about this? Am I worrying needlessly and should I use m3u4u? Any thoughts or help appreciated.

m3u4u seems to be recommended by a few peopleon here. I like it and have been using it with no problems at all. You’ll be fine. If your provider dislikes you using m3u4u then leave your provider.

TLDR: So you’re good using m3u4u.

I have been using for a while and I could say it is an amazing service! They have support channel at Discord https://m3u4u.com/discord

m3u4u is the BEST iptv editor and EPG service out there and FREE.

And just a heads up to people to stay away from iptv-epg com. They are rubbish and expensive.

I've been using it a bit, I really like it. My only problem with it is one of my providers banned its IP, so it can't update anymore. But nothing happened to my account from that provider, still works.

When I use m3u4u link as the playlist URL, a lot of my channels end up not having logos. I'm using perfect player. Anyone else have this problem?
