I would suggest a fire stick. Much quicker and easy to navigate and add apps too
That's pretty crappy that they can take away apps that you've paid for and that arguably have a non-piracy purpose. That's why I've always hated Smart TV's. You give up control for a zero form factor. I'd rather have a PC or Android TV device feed the TV an HDMI source. That way I don't have to worry about TV manufacturer's not doing adequate security updates or in this case -- taking way apps that I've paid for.
Yeah a Streaming Device is a must if you have a Samsung TV that is all I will say about that. Kinda weird how they're able to remove apps as well as your Web Browser shuts down when you try to visit certain websites. A Streaming Device allows you to avoid all that BS

Mine are still there.But it's really a shame that app was removed from Samsung playstore.The good thing is that you can install it again.
You need to turn off updates on your tv. Do it on your settings in the TV. When you update the TV or the TV update automatically it will remove unwanted apps. However you are able to install it as previous mentioned through USB and its fairly easy.
Infomir's Ministra player is still available and working fine for me.
There is a new service called free roam tv coming out Feb 18 app will be on google play, Apple store.
