Your iptv apps and players are limited on your smart tv. You'll have a few more options with the firestick or even something like a formuler z box.

If you’re not having issues with the app on the TV, I wouldn’t bother with a Firestick.
The downside with the Firestick, if you’re wanting to continue using the STBEmu app, is the key mapping as the Firestick remote doesn’t have coloured buttons. There is a method to do it but I’ve no idea how successful it is.
