Some help with IPTV

Hi, recently picked up a fire stick and followed online instructions on how to setup a IPTV sub. I subscribed to two different subs. Yeah IPTV and Nitro IPTV.

I tried all different players on the fire stick. Everything from Tivimate to Smarters and all the ones inbetween but I kept running into the same issues.

First issue was a lot of the EPG was missing though this seemed to be worse when using Tivimate so may have been a problem with their app.

Second problem was that catchup for any channel did not work despite both subs saying they provided catch up and that their catch service should be operating as normal.

Lastly I couldn’t get any video on demand to work. Any of the latest tv shows I wanted to watch would not work or on the off chance one would work there was no way to actually select the season/episode I would like to watch.

I tried with and without a VPN (using Surfshark) and I even tried going down the MAC address route rather than m3u and that didn’t help either. Most channels worked, like sports/movies but i was hoping for a service with PPV catch up for the PPV’s that start around 3am UK time I could therefore watch the following morning on catch up.

If anyone has any ideas Or recommendations I am all ears but right now I’m struggling with this IPTV situation.

sounds like its your provider i use TiVimate and its the best player i have used and i have tried them all , it all works and never miss a single line of the EPG .

Tivimate is not good with VOD. I have both tivimate premium and IPTV smarters pro. If you want something that can do both channels and vod, use IPTV smarters pro or perfect player. I love tivimate UI but hate that it doesn't work with VOD yet. You not getting the EPG is probably your providers fault or they provide half assed EPG. Same with my provider.

Hey,

How was you trying to access catch up on Smarters? Through the little catch-up section on the main screen?

It also might need the same as below for catch-up to work....

For VoD to work did you trying installing VLC, going to settings in Smarters setting it as the external player and then in Player selection setting movies/series to VLC?

Using 3 different IPTV, one is NitroTV. NitroTV is by far the most reliable IPTV in addition to working spectacularly in TiVimate. Replay works flawlessly.

One thing that appears to be an issue currently is time synchronization with the NitroTV EPG programs. It's off by about 4 hours. They're working on it now.

Will be dropping one of the other two IPTV services as the subscription runs out.
