Get an Amazon Fire Stick 4K. Zero issues running any streaming app I've thrown at it. Despite its low cost, it's fast and extremely portable. I test different servers daily for over a year on it. without issues.
Don't waste your money on anything other than the Nvidia Shield.
Nvidia shield tv. Best money you will ever spend. All others are junk.

You can't go wrong with the z8...the guide is actually better and smoother than bell fibre op....I use Beast tv with it and it works perfectly.....plug a hard drive into it and you can schedule recordings, or record live
I just bought a Sidiwen T95 off Amazon as a second android box and it's complete junk. I returned it and bought a second Nvidia Shield. The cheapo boxes don't run true Android TV they run some garbage version of Android they hack together with a terrible skin. It's slow.
I believe the Xiaomi Mi Box is also legit Android tv if you want a cheaper option than the Nvidia Shield.
Formuler z for the flexibility. Cant go wrong. Nvidia shield if your going to do some gaming other wise its just over kill but a great box if you have the extra cash.

Get the 4k and you will set. Works solid.
For streaming only , fire stick 4K is enough. Shield is very good but overkill for your purpose.
The Only Android box you will need is the Nvidia Shield if your budget is up to $200
If 100-200$ is your budget, then get the Nvidia Shield hands down. Best android box available.
