Noob here. Need EPG help

Im using iptv smarter on my fire tv. I'm using an m3u link from a private torrent site I've been using for years. EPG is Memorial.

Streams work perfect but the epg isn't working. At one point a small selection of sports channels worked with the epg but I haven't been able to replicate it and I haven't been able to get anything else to work. It's just a list of channels we have to browse blindly with no preview and no guide listing.

Can any app be used with my m3u links? Can any epg be used? Or is that all tied to my m3u links? Any tips or referrals to a different service would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered a service like XEEV?

I’m using what I think is the same service as you; same setup long time torrent site that started offering iptv, I did what the poster above said, I paired out the channels I didn’t use and and then used XEEV to set the guide, I’m not going to say it works 100 percent, but it’s significantly better than what I had before.

Make sure the app is set to retrieve updates for the EPG, otherwise it won't update, and thus would only show content for whatever is left.
