Firestick issue?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched here and Google with no luck...

Lately it seems like my firestick will stream fine for about an hour and a half and then stop, restarting doesn't help, changing VPN location doesn't help, sometimes VPN won't even connect, both IPTV app and primestreams won't load, and then suddenly....bam, all good.

Any thoughts? Firestick is about 3 months old, gen 2.

Gen 2 is why, they are junk. Grab a 4K stop being cheap.

Yes they run so much better. It's just 4k compatible. Processor is much better.

I have a stupid question : does it feel quite warm to the touch whilst under performing?
