Are there any apps out there tht you can add a delay to let your channel buffer for a few seconds?

I'm currently using tivimate on firestick iff wifi because it's too far away from my router, and some channels buffer every minute or so

are u sure it is not your provider. some have this issue others do not. but if your tv is too close to the wall and your fstic is in the back, this can cut down the distnce. The other advice is to get a wifi extender for your router. as a couple of suggestions

In addition to the other comments here, make sure you're using 2.4ghz band only if connecting through any walls. It penetrstes better and has longer range.
