I bought a Mi Box S yesterday and after the pain and struggles of accidentally updating it, cable management and whatnot, I finally got it to work at least.
I use STB emulator (pro) to set up my IPTV, contacted my provider and for some reason, it wont show anything but a black screen. No guide, no channel, nothing. I've factory resetted my box multiple times, refunded and repurchased the emulator. I have no idea how to fix it. Help!
Ask your reseller to change your Mac and edit that Mac in stbemh. Or give your reseller a new Mac that you've edited in stbemu. See if that works. Reinstalling stbemu can sometimes lock your account as the system thinks you're trying to run a 2nd box with the same mac. This fix should work.
You could also try a VPN and if using a VPN already try a different location. If if you don't have a VPN you could try connecting the box to mobile data and of it works then you know you might need a VPN.
Do you have to use that player? Can you not use any other player?
