I tried many apps to cast my iptv on chromecast, like GSE but "Failed to load media", i tried lot of apps, only movies are working but there is only audio (if some1 have a fix for that too). Someone found a solution to cast iptv on chromecast? Maybe it depends of the m3u i bought? Some of them are compatible with chromecast ? Thanks!
VLC will forward the stream to your device
Using VLC helps a lot with streaming via chromecast. I can tell you that eventually I just bought a firestick and it made me realise I should have done that first. So much smoother operation and more functionality for how I watch things.
You can try Televizo app. It has Chromecast support. You can get more information here: r/Televizo.
I use iptv extreme with little to no issues on casting. Failing that, as long as an app let's me use an external player, I use vlc and then cast the vlc stream to the chromecast with the same occasional drop but most of the time works really well. I'm usuly using the mpeg stream. TS ones ses to work as well.
