I have two providers added and I’ve updated the epg for each channel. Then I merged them but I don’t seem to be able to see a merged epg link.
Can anyone advise?

They don’t merge external EPG links! If you want to do that I recommend you to use Xteve.
Check the instructions on Discord. The merged epg url is just like the merged playlist url, under manage.
