Been using my amazon firestick for about six months now, have a solid IPTV with its own apk which runs perfect, and I have Cinema with RD working fine as well.
However, I recently noticed that large RD files or UHD streams really struggle to load, lots of stop start. Decided to run a speed test on the firestick itself, came in at 25mbps download speed. I have 500mbps fiber which runs at 350-400 through a VPN on 5ghz WiFi which the firestick is connected to but I'm getting no where near the speeds.
The router is beside the TV so I'm looking for a box that has a lan port so I can plug straight in to get the most of my speeds.
I've seen a lot of talk about shields but no one has ever explained the full features and capabilities compared to a firestick, and I know there's websites out there but nearly all of them are linked to a specific box that they're trying to sell so I'm looking for real evidence here.
Gimme the suggestions and why it's better than a firestick! Muchas gracias
