I have a very poor internet service at home. There is not way to have a better service. I love the XCIPTV Apk, cuz I can have closed caption. I'd have had services with low bandwidth channels and some work well others nop. How can I downgrade the quality of the picture? Instead of 1280 × 720. Make it lower. Thanks. This may not be a solution for you, but if you have family or friends with a decent connection they could host your playlist in plex and plex will transcode /relay the tv back to you in any quality you choose.
Use hls instead of ts.
You can transcode, not need to change the size of the picture you can change bitrate or profile for 264 codec for example. But for this task you need to have service for transcoding.
If you are able to use STB EMU for your service on an android device you can down play the resolution for lower internet speed. It will use much less bandwidth picture quality is significantly lower but will maintain the streams for sure. What device are you using?

Unfortunately you're at the whim of the service as they generally offer the same resolution as the provider they are getting it from. Some services offer SD channels (Standard definition) to account for mobile use or low-speed internet.
