Iptv box with 5 ghz support

Hi, I have a 500 mbps connection and mag322 box. This box only supports 2.4 ghz. I have observed that my connection speed is is low single digit for 2.4 ghz and more than 300 mbps for 5 ghz. I am using wifi and due to distance between my tv and router , I can not user Ethernet cable. I would like to know if it’s possible to still somehow resolve this problem without purchasing extra hardware? If that’s not possible then I would like to know what are some of my other options?

basically every single android-based box out there. At the high end, buy an nVidia Shield, install Tivimate and be done with it.

Low single digit like below 10? Sounds like a hardware issue somewhere as that's pretty low.

Try a wifi extender. I had problems and then bought a dlink one. I now have 5mhz into my backyard.
