I have a z8 and today it was powered on and working and I noticed it turned off and have a solid red light. The battery is fine in the remote, I do not have the ir extender and do not know how go around the problem. Any help or answers would be appreciated.

-Please note, timing is very important for working FR (factory reset). Try few times until FR is done successful.
Remove power from the device. Re-insert power WHILE simultaneously rapidly pressing the red button on the remote The front status light will start to blink red and green. Stop pressing the red button Press 1 on the remote and wait for the reset procedure to complete
Unplug it for a couple of minutes and plug it back in and check. There was an update released today. If you are able to get it on, run the update cos some updates tend to fix performance bugs. I am using mine right now and it is running well on new update
