Favorite EPG Provider

by komobu

Currently I am using the EPG that comes with Xtream-editor as it is much better than the one from my provider. However, there are many missing epgs. Some of the missing channels are Motor Trend, ACC Network, TLC and others.

Is there a better epg provider out there?

Is there a way to find out what the epg is for a channel like motor trend?

Thanks for any advice

M3u4u has that channel. (XEEV has TLC btw). Other EPG option worth checking out is xmltv.co

M3u4u is free and I’ve heard good things about it. Haven’t used it.

I use zap2xml script for very good epg with info and thumbnail (poster) which makes for a great looking presentation in emby.

Hi... For Motor Trend, your provider may be using the tvg-id for Discovery Velocity (and not using Motor Trend). I emphatically second using "zap2xml" for USA and Canadian EPGs. I have not found a channel for which detailed guide is not provided. It will take you about 30 minutes to set up. It is a very, very easy solution. There are several thorough YouTube how-to guides. Good luck!

Xeev has motortrend, it's velocity.us

Yes. It does.

It should work with any iptv client that accepts an xml file for the epg. I’m at work while I still have a job. I’ll share details tonight.

Edit: the above is in response to @kjubei. I still don’t understand how the reply system works in reddit .

Schedules direct for sure smokes all these epg companies out there data wise.

It will however require some knowledge to apply it to your playlists though, and some extra time to figure it all out.

They have a free trial so you can see what areas they have covered (almost all!)
