Best iptv app for LG TV?

by jdmufc1970

My provider of iptv just messaged me and told me to stop using the siptv app, as its become unstable, they recommended Setiptv and Netiptv but neither of these are compatible with LG tv's.

Any recommendations for a stable app for an LG TV?

(would also appreciate if it's simple to use)

buy a firestick

Use duplex iptv on the LG store. It's a new app that is a clone of iptv starters. And it is hands down the best iptv player on LG smart TV.

I have an new LG with webOS. I use IPTV smarters. Works great with my service.

Just get a cheap iptv box and be done with it.

Any old android box within the last 3-4 years will suffice for iptv and simple VOD uses. Probably not the answer you want to hear, but seriously $30 you should be able to find something that works. I use old Skystream 1 boxes that friends were trashing and they do just fine for such tasks. Ask around, I’m sure a friend has something sitting in a drawer collecting dust.

smarters. Nanomid is OK too.

Iptv smarters will work fine, but only if your provider has registered their server address with LG. This costs a one off £120.00 in the uk. Ask your provider if he's registered. I'm not registered but one of my colleagues is so I just direct anyone set on using LG to him. The cost of a 12 month sub and a firestick is about the same, so it just a personal choice thing.

I have Smarters and MKiptv apps on my LG. Both have pros and cons. For example, Smarters has issues with the time - the clock freezes, giving wrong EPG, and you have to restart it to work. MKiptv is not so user friendly and it costs to activate. Been using Smart STB lately, love it. Costs 2.99€/month, though, but works like a MAG. I'll try Duplex, see how it works. The point is, you gotta try as many as you can, none of them are perfect.

How about to use smart iptv app for the lg? Its very fast switching between channels and very smooth running so i would always pick the smart iptv app.

My strong recommendation would be to buy an Amazon Firestick 4k, some Android box with wireless keyboard and remote, or a NVIDIA Shield and install a Smarters app. Three different price ranges and features but all equally safe, easy to use, and reliable. The best part is you can move it to different TVs in your house or to another TV if say you decided to buy a different brand TV for your main room. Shoot me an email if you have any more questions. Best of luck!

My service provider recmmended me smart iptv on my lg tv. After the trial period, the app asked me to pay, what I don't intend to do. Later I tried IPTV smarters, but I couldn't set it up. I had the same issue with MKIPTV. I am happy to find this topic, as I use Duplex iptv. Very easy to setup and the usage is also better compaired with super iptv.
