What would you say are the top 2 big dogs in IPTV players?
I still use Perfect Player because the built-in video player has been the most consistent and reliable for long running streams on my device & provider. It's not as nice as tivimate but the core function of video playback is most important to me

Sounds as nobody uses XCIPTV any more then? I have both Tivimate and Xciptv and I think the latter is still a very good player
Possible silly question inbound but can I use these players on any Iptv? The one I use recommends ltq and I’ve used only that since.
I use tivimate and implayer, both are good. I find tivimate is probably easier to to set up (probably because I've used it from the day it came out and I've not used implayer for long) but in my opinion implayer looks better. Both give you the ability to record, you can even record to your Nas if you have one. Vod is much better with implayer and with implayer you can download from vod and catch-up
Tivimate and iMPlayer. Both are for android TVs not phones or apple/ roku devices
