I don't want any services given to me by other users, but are there services that are free? Is it just a case of looking around on google?

I use tv zion with a Real Debrid and Premiumize (currently on sale) account and I'm able to find 99% of the TV shows and movies I want to watch. Total game changer for me
Get a 4K firestick, so you’re not dealing with casting issues. Install Cinema or Cyberflix ....link to a paid Real Debrid or All Debrid account and you’re totally set. No casting headaches and way less time searching for solid sources. Or alternatively you can use r/plexshares....but regardless, that chrome cast is going to continue to be a blockade to easy streaming.
Kodi or Cinema is what you are looking for. Just download cinema hd on your device and you are all set.

If you want something free you can try a Kodi Build, Troypoint gives you a step by step guide how to install it .
If you're willing to pay, your best bet is Plex or Emby shares. They're actually dedicated to VOD content.
IPTV is not good for VOD (i.e. movies, etc) check out Typhoon, Cyberflix, other apps. Or get an emby share.
Best one I've found is Cyberflix, in combination with real debrid. No ads and regularly updated. Also have an extremely helpful support group on Facebook 👍🏼
Firestick makes it so easy for beginners and it's affordable. I use Typhoon, Cyberflix, and CinemaHD if I didn't catch it live on BeastTV.
What streaming device do you have? Cinema HD, BeeTV, CatMouse, Cybeflix, and many other apps will allow access to on-demand movies and TV shows.
