You also have to enable it in the playlist settings - you should see the little circle icon in the guide after that
When watching tv click the Center button, then push up for media controls.
When watching live, press center button to see info panel and recent channels, press up to see player controls and up again to the time line, press left to rewind or press the watch from start button next to live on the right. Once you have done that you can FF and RW by pressing left or right when watching.
If your provider has catchup then you can rewind. If it is not a catch-up channel you cannot rewind because tivimate is not saving the channel you are streaming as you watch it. (Very limited storage within firestick)
