New IPTV user with some problems

by Cihanito

Hey guys. Im not sure if this is the place to adress issues as a new IPTV-user but I will give it a try. So i got IPTV two days ago on a Samsung 55? inch screen. The app is called "Set IPTV" which the provider recommended. I love the range of channels etc, but have issues with *buffering* mostly when I select *fullhd* channels (basically the same graphics as "normal" *hd" channels haha). Also many channels don't open at all, they are showing a black screen and a small box appears "Stream not available".

- I have checked my ethernet. It's working fine as always. I even called ISP and they confirmed it.- My ethernet speed is up to 1000 mbit (1 gbit) and when i do tests i get understandable values, both on PC and TV.- I updated the router- The TV is connected to a A fiber-optic cable just as the pc.- My family used a tv-box for turkish channels before and we never? encountered buffering then.

I contacted the IPTV service (the ones who I bought channels from) and they told me that the CPU of the TV is most likely the problem and I should buy a *Formuler z8*. I'm not quite sure since the providers (IPTV sellers) do everything to earn money - but I think it can be as they say..

Also the TV is kind of broken. Like some apps makes the TV freeze and a restart (power off then on) is required. The company we bought it from have tried to repair it, but nop still problematic.

What should I do. New tv? New box like Formuler Z8? Get my money back? I dont know.

He's right, the tv doesn't have enough cpu/memory. Get yourself an android box and yes Formuler z is an excellent choice.

I would start with Formuler box, since it is the cheapest option, with expectations it could be the tv, or the server from your ipt. My iptv buffers some, it stops after awhile.. how old is the tv?

Have you looked around at other options other than the Formuler Z8? Or what the Z8 can do? Does it suit what you need? The most basic setup is a Firestick, and if you can get them on sale, even better deal. I would always suggest people to start with a Firestick and go from there. Tivimate app just keeps getting beter.

I have several fire sticks. 2 of them are the 4K version. I have bought every single one around Christmas or amazon prime day for half off, $25.

Unbelievable value.

No issues whatsoever. Tivimate or iMPlayer for me. Both great features, fast channel switching.

I can even watch two channels (multi screen) at once with no issues. 3 or more and I start seeing issues.

So my vote goes to fire stick 4K especially on a sale day.
