Samsung Smart TV IPTV app incompatible?

Can anyone lend me a hand here? I know certain models of Samsung support the Smart IPTV app, and I cannot find any information on my model. I know its a 2012 and the model code is: UN60ES8000. I tried through the store method, and the app was not available. So then I tried to install manually by using the ES compatible model IPTV version from here: Link

Anyone else have any luck with this model or is it just not compatible? If not, I will just use my Firestick and try.

Update: tried USB. Put the downloaded files on the root of SD after extracting, and placed USB in TV. Came back in 5 minutes and smart IPTV was automatically installed in the samsung app folder. Then, I just added my m3u in siptv.app and my Mac address, and all was golden!

The Firestick is just an all round better solution.

I also went for the firestick option. i tried the apps from Samsung but they were crap

Samsung makes dumb TVs. It was unimaginably slow to get to Netflix. I wouldn't use any smart feature on their tvs. But firestick is freaking amazing 4 the price. Dont piss money away on high end google devices, i have one of those that is now a useless 75 dollar piece of plastic. Firestick has no recorded serial number...so if it locks up, you can replace it
