Beginner guide required

Hello I am extremely new to all this so I am seeking an honest review/ set up guide. I may have an old fire stick lying around but that is about it so if anyone could DM me or point me in the right direction to get set up from scratch that would be great

I was new to all this about a month ago... I'm using a MiBox S and have no issues. I've found that TIVIMATE is the best player and totally worth the $5 or whatever it cost. I'm using beastTV as my provider and haven't had to many issues, still looking to try other providers tho.

A Shield is certainly better than a Firestick (I have both), though several times the price. Do not buy a Pro unless you are a gamer, waste of money and in short supply anyway.

Watching YouTube videos from a number of different people is how I learned the little I know.

Your best bet for beginning is IPTV Smarters like mentioned already, once you get used to it or want something a bit more advantaged and with things you can change, tivimate is the way to go imo.

If you have a firestick, I suggest you do the following:

  1. Install Downloader App - You have to have the Downloader app already installed on the stick. Just head on over to the settings menu, click on 'My Fire Tv', choose 'Developer Options' then go to 'Apps from Unknown Sources' and turn it on. Now go back to the home screen and click on the search icon. Type 'Downloader'. When it shows you the Downloader app in the results, click to install.

  2. Install IPTV Smarters Pro App - open the Downloader app. In the URL box type exactly the following:

https://troypoint.com/smarters

and click 'Go'. It will start to download. When it finishes, click 'install', then 'Done'.

Now that you have the Smarters app installed, you can test a few trial subs. Just inform the provider that you have the IPTV Smarters app, he/she will instruct you how to load their playlist into your app. When you've found the sub and the provider that suits you, make a one month subscription, then take another provider and do the same. Like said before in this thread, just try to test as many as you can. None of them are perfect, though a few come pretty close with what they have on offer.
