Should I use the builtin player or switch an external player like VLC?

I find audio to be a little out of sync (if you pay very close attention) when using the built in player.  No issues when using external player.

I use VLC on my (Android) phone so I can use split screen and watch TV while reading the news on my way to work in the morning.

95% hit on loading channels , sometimes have to switch from hw to sw mode and back. Also found 2.2.2 version to be slower with menus . Downgraded to 2.2.1. But hey, it’s still pretty good.
