I'm new to IPTV and excited about getting started. Reading through the posts, it seems the consensus box or device to use is the Nvidia. Is there a "best" one to try and get? And also does anyone have suggestions of vendors, otherwise I will just look for it at Amazon or cheapest place. Thanks!
Agreed. Shield is the way to go. I've tested all sorts of different devices, from Amazon to Amlogic to other AndroidTV boxes and configs, and nothing compares to the speed and reliability of the Shield. That's not to say that the others don't work, but they are too laggy IMO. The Shield is very fast, doesn't skip or have lag and takes everything I throw at it.
Don't do what I did and waste a bunch of money trying different devices. Lol. Just get the Shield and you'll never look back!
Tivo 4k is nice currently $50.00 usd. Nothing beats the shield i love all of mine
Get the shield tv pro. You will eventually start up doing gaming and all later you will regret bv or getting it now
I bought a Electriq 4k 1gb three years ago with an air mouse delivered for €64. It's done fine but I need more RAM so I'll up grade soon. Point being you don't need to spend much to start. Best to Ethernet hard wire rather than wifi if you can. Getting a good service is most important.

Shield is a overkill just for iptv, if you are into gaming etc, fine, but for just IPTV and streaming other services a Firestick 4K+Tivimate/IMplayer will be more than enough.
