What can I do differently as a reseller? Want to be genuinely helpful.

Starting a reseller biz for iptv, what's something I can do differently for my customers that they would appreciate? I try to be as helpful as I can and always there when they message. I sell a stalker middleware service. Most servers are all the same, I feel the server I sell is pretty high quality though and has a ton of channels.

My current provider has a discord service where there are two of them and they go out of their way to answer peoples questions and help them with setup - regardless of how trivial or whether it ultimately results in a sale or not.

They are awesome. And its why I will never leave them unless they stop doing business.

They run multiple providers, and so my primary and backup service is with them because I know they are always there for any support needs.

This is what you need to do to differentiate. I briefly looked around for other services and saw the chat history on discord from the owners - often its very impatient, snarky service that I have no time for - and doesnt compare to what I have now.

Make things idiot proof imagine every user doesn't even know how to turn a TV on.

Guide for every app Tivimate, smarters, IMplayer, XCIPTV, gse

Devices: How to install from scratch on an unboxed shield, firestick etc.

Make all this automated with a telegram bot or something so !guidetivi auto replies with the telegram guide.

Make people aware your a reseller - you are cheaper but you can't restart streams and stuff.

Good luck :)

The guy I use has three telegram accounts all users have access to. The first is upcoming sports events which is updated daily. The second is new vod that has been added and the third is for vod requests.

Best service I've used

My advice? Do what fits your lifestyle. If you try and cater to everyone 1. your business may suffer 2. You won't have fun doing it.

Discord, telegram, slack, email. Etc....use whatever platform works for you and streamlines your business.

I'm 100% discord because it works for me. I know fellow resellers that are 100% in person and go to everyone's house to setup and troubleshoot. Just really depends on what works for your business.

No stupid restrictions such as not allowing vpn, m3u, forcing ip-lock, mac-lock, ability to use app of our choice (no rubbish rebranded smarters please) etc. etc. etc.

Good points raised already. I'd add maybe go a different route on support, not everybody has / wants Discord or Telegram so maybe a web forum.

Provide a great EPG if your supplier doesn't already. Full channels, 7 days and accurate.
