Can I share a friend's shared libraries to other user profiles on my Plex account?

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync or copy a friend's shared libraries to other user profiles on a single Plex account? I need this to be able to create a user profile for my family so they have access to the same content as I do on my admin orofile but can have their own playlists and recently watched programs. I've tried all I could, including purchasing a Plex Pass and making sure I've allowed access to all libraries but nothing is allowing my provider's shared libraries to appear on other user profiles. They only show on my admin profile...

Yeah, Plex doesn't work like that (and I'm glad it doesn't). You'll need direct access to the files in order to provide access to your "users".

The solution here is to ask your friend nicely to add these other people to their server. It’s the only way you can get what you’re after.

On a side note, on my server I put a cap per user on the number of simultaneous streams that are allowed to discourage sharing like this. I want to know who is using my stuff.
