New IPTV app

Hello,

I would like to share with you all our new app to play streaming channels, IPTV 3U.

In this first version we wanted to direct our efforts in the version for smartphones and tablets, to create something that is very simple to load playlists and play streaming anywhere.

The application in its initial version includes the following features:

  • M3U and W3U playlist support
  • Load lists by scanning QR codes
  • Integrated smart player
  • Search
  • EPG XMLTV support
  • Favorites
  • Share favorites
  • Share lists and recordings
  • Live recording
  • Backup lists in Google Drive
  • Chromecast support
  • Background playback
  • Play audio only mode

We would love to hear your opinion and receive suggestions to implement in future updates. Our medium-term intention is to launch the version for Android TV.

That's a lot of permissions that I have no idea why they're needed... This app has access to:

Identity

find accounts on the device

Contacts

find accounts on the device

Location

approximate location (network-based)

precise location (GPS and network-based)

Phone

read phone status and identity

Camera

take pictures and videos

Streamnoob

I cannot accept an app with ads

Smaller channel names/icons, larger EPG font, fit 12+ channels on a single view, its IPTV with 1000s of channels so the more we see on single screen the less we scroll. (talking about when we watch it on SmartTV, for phone watching I don't care much).

Remove the brutal adverts for now till you get some feedback/imporvements and a 100+ install base.

Slim down the permissions, its not a banking app.

Everyone wants to get quick rich on appstore these days...

Sorry but don't like the app at all. Too many adverts everywhere and don't like the layout either. I appreciate the effort gone into it but I'll stick to other apps for my smartphone for now

Why does it need access to my camera, contacts, location, phone and so many other permissions?

Very invasive, I was scared shitless while installing. Lol
