You can use a capture card to record? I don't know letting tht out there though
Buy an otg cable. I bought one for 5euro and a 32gb thumb drive for similar and it can record around 16gb.
I haven't taken the files off drive but believe it's easily possible.
Using tivimate but I'm sure there are other programs too
You can use a media server like emby to do that and stream channels to all your devices: phone, ipad, xbox, playstation, firestick..
*It does require a premium sub to to use that part of the media server
Tivimate will record, you need to attach some storage.
