Start own iptv

by marcelamota1982

Am paying around 150$ for 2 lines of iptv per year , after some investigations i found up that with 200$ or even 100$ i can become a reseller , use the service for my self and sell the rest , this way i will have my service for free and who knows maybe make some good money .

After some research i found out that to start an iptv i need 3 main things :

IPTV PROVIDER / IPTV WEBSITE & BILLING PLATFORM

for building the IPTV WEBSITE and BILLING PLATFORM i found : Xtreamcoderz , so far so good since they will do all the setup for me .

Now about iptvprovider i know i need to search inside the iptvresellers category .

BUT MY BIG QUESTION :

SHOULD i resell or should i create my own network !!?? i do not have any experience , Xtreamcoderz told me to find a good iptv reseller and just buy credits and resell them since they do not advise me to run my own service since it will cost more .

but after using google i learned that if you contract some servers like ( instant dedicated / ovh ) or any hosting websites that support streams they will offer servers , then get some channel sources and link them to your hosting account and that it , the results will be x 10 profit than becoming a reseller and just resell the credits you purchase .

So is it that complicated to run your own iptv service , or its possible ? is becoming the MAIN provider worth the hard work or is it something for experts only and the best solution is to get a reseller credits and resell ?

I think you are in way over your head. It would take a large investment to setup a channel feed for 100+ channels. You'd need to sell a lot of subscriptions just to break even.

The reseller route would be very straight forward but legally you would be moving from a purchaser to a seller of copyrighted material. That could have big implications.

All this just to save 12.50 a month?

Start out as a reseller, see how you like dealing with down channels and upset customers.. then move on from that, or stay there. Way easier as a reseller and you actually make some decent bread without the same risk and work as a provider. As long as you educate your subs, it should minimize complaints though. Just my opinion on this, all the best!

Good question my friend. I have been wondering the same thing, but I am inexperienced as well. If anyone can link to how to actually create the channel feeds, I would love to understand. I read a few times that PS Vue was quite popular for this before it shut down. Not sure why though.

There are many IPTV providers you can buy credits from but most important things is buy from someone who is available all the time. Don't buy from someone whom you request something and supplier reply next day.
