Which box should I get?

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole IPTV thing but after some research, I've come to the conclusion that getting a dedicated box probably is better than using whatever app is available on my smart TV.

I'm a little unsure what to get though. I see MAG boxes and other options like the Formuler Z8 - but which do you guys think is best? I'd like 4K support and I'm decently tech savvy so having more options like downloading Netflix/Youtube apps on an Android platform might be ideal for me?

Nvidia shield with tivimate is the way to go.

Formuler z8 is the way to go. It will give you the option of using the mag/mac/stb services or the m3u services.

I have a Mag box and just bought an nvidia shield for Kodi and other stuff. I tried stbemu and tivimate apps on the nvidia shield, but I went back to the mag for iptv just because it's easier to use.

Many traditional iptv services still provide Mac subscription only, which works on mag, formuler, and buzztv boxes. You can use stbemu app on android, but it's not the best experience.

If you're going with an m3u subscription, then get the nvidia shield and use tivimate app.

I use the shield tube and 4k firestick with tivimate . Both work fine, but shield is faster and seems to buffer less.

Nvidia shield you won't regret it. The best $185 I've ever spent. I've bought the Mi box for friends and family that don't see the point in spending all that on a Android box. It gets the job done but a Nvidia shield is future proof and you can play games on the Nvidia now service or the dozens on emulators.

I've two mi boxes for the bedrooms and a Shield as a main daily driver which is great for gaming too.. I guess it all comes down to what you want it for...oh and how much your willing to spend

Z8 hands down the best...like other user said if you need netflix your sub sucks...I have a great supplier for live stuff and a superb sub for all vod via emby.
