Title should say "bitrate", not nitrate.
Have many services at the moment. At times I think the 720p streams of a channel are actually better than the 1080p ones. I’m beginning to wonder if certain services just upscale the hell out of their streams to spoof quality. Would love to be able to see video and audio bitrates to test this out. Concept similar to how various legit 4K providers stream at varying 4K quality.
Any ideas or best methods for comparing actual quality beyond an eye test?
There are apps that can display bitrate information. IPTV Extreme is one of them, I think you can do it in Kodi as well (you would need a keyboard for that). Just a tip, wait a minute or two for it to show accurate data. It will be all over the place at first after you launch a stream.
