I was wondering if there was any tools that spun thru a .m3u file and tried to connect to all the channels in the list, and give stats back on ones that do not work as well as the time it takes to get the streaming started?
I have several different sources, and even on the ones I have, they may have different version of the same channel, wondering if everything still works as well as which feed starts quickest.
I don't know if there is any other stats that could be given. Just wondered if there was a tool out there that did such.
Thanks!
I do believe that this will do exactly what you are looking for. And it is free.

This gives you the resolution of the video stream, speed, codec used, and even the expiration date for the account. It's worth a look see. I have used it for a couple of years and it just works.
EDIT TO ADD:
Here are 3 more IPTV M3U checkers that I use. These do not need to be installed. Just extract and run.
This one still work but there is a new version that came out at the beginning of this month. IPTV Checker 1.09 https://archive.org/details/IPTVChecker1.09
This is the newest version, IPTV Checker Update version 2.5 https://absidev.com/2020/06/02/iptv-checker-update-version-2-5/
And here is one more that you can try. IPTV Check - 1.0.0.0 https://iptv-tools.com/app/freeware/view/8
Good luck. I think one or more of these ideas will do the trick.
