Mag254 Help

Question

Hi guys

My mag254 when I use video on demand content (ie. Movies tv shows) now and again has no audio on the content. But when I ask my provider (who mainly directs his users to IPTV smarters app) he says he has no issues with audio his end. This is only on a few shows. Any ideas what the issue may be?

Yes your using an old magbox time for an upgrade.

Yes those older Mags are not capable of playing the newer audio formats. That being said  there are some providers who still have VOD with the compatible audio

Restart the mag box and try again.

Try setting your streams to HLS instead of MPEGTS. That will probably do the trick.
