I have both a Z8 and a Nvidia Shield. The shield is much more powerful but the Z8 has been great for me.

It is another mediocre android based box with one selling point, it’s proprietary iptv software. If you are looking for an iptv box, you won’t find better, if you are looking for an all around media player for Netflix,Disney+ etc, there are much better options.

It's amazing for IPTV. Not so much for Netflix, Hulu or any third party apps because it's running a super old version of Android.
I own a Z8 and a Mibox 4k. The Z8 is by far the better box for IPTV. The mibox is just meh at best even with TiVimate. If you can afford the Z8, it's not even close IMHO
I bought the z8 for my iptv and i was not impress. It seems unpolished for me. Sold it then bought the shield and premium version of tivimate. The experience is amazing. Ai upscaling is pretty good. In my opinion its worth the price
I program the netflix button on my shield remote to open tivimate. When i just want to watch iptv when i wake up, i just press the netflix button and the tv will turn on and the tivimate will launch all at the same time. Pretty neat.
Very good boxes. I have 3. MyTVOnline2 is superb in my opinion. Great 'cable/TV style remote' wife friendly lol. However, the new nvidia shield 2019 TV is worth the extra bucks. Why? Z8 is good, mine is very fast , doesnt crash or freeze....
so far the software updates have been nice as well , they are fixing and adding things...

I am very happy with mine, use it for just IPTV though. Owned several other devices and this has been the best so far, and good price as well; I'm in Canada.
