TVG ID Issues

by Bibliorama

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to IPTV but I seem to be carrying on ok. I recently started getting into merging the m3u's of my two services and updating the EPGs using m3u-editor.com but I seem to be having trouble with TVG IDs. I'm not sure if it's just that my provider EPGs don't have the info or if something isn't working for me. For example, I've been trying to add the tvg-id's for my UK channels ie ITV 1-4, MTV, Nat Geo etc and they won't populate. Is it just that my providers lack the epg data or have I done something wrong? Thanks!

PS. If it is a provider lacking issue can anyone recommend an alternative EPG source? Paid or otherwise.

Use m3u4u it free editing m3u tool with free EPG.

For paid EPG I use xmltv.co depending on what you want price can be vary. Server 1 is $10 for example.

Having the same issues, I'm using Emby to serve to a Roku, the provider gives what appears to be a "Smarter IPTV" playlist with no UK tvg-id numbers. After hours of testing various solutions Schedules Direct seems, in some cases to use the channel name but there are a lot of gaps. Long term I think the solution is to find a provider that produces correctly formatted playlists.

Hi,

I am using https://www.iptvepgonline.com It is great for UK and other countries like US, Canada, Australia, etc. It also allows you to add logos for channels and movie information for VOD content.
