EPG's and Tivimate

by Perfecto2002

Hi, not got much experience with the inner workings of iptv so maybe one of you more experienced people can help.

I have a few subs setup on Tivimate. The main one has a solid US epg but like zero UK epg. The other more UK focused sub has a solid UK epg which works great. I have the main sources of epg's set as what was given by my providers and have set my mains secondary epg to the UK focused one, but it still wont populate the UK part of the epg.

Anyone know what could be causing this? Is it something to do with the TV-id's? Or is it because one is m3u and the other is xtream code? If anyone knows if it is fixable or whats going on that would be great thanks.

Most likely TVG ids not matching. You can use m3u4u.com to assign the correct TVG Ids, it's really simple and works well.

Yes, probably the TV ID tags are different in both playlists and EPG files, so they won't match automatically. You can try manually assigning them or use an editor to match them.

What you can do is with the guide open long press the channel with no epg info and scroll down the right side menu and select assign epg. In the list of channels and providers select the one with epg info. Incredible pia but hey that's show business.

Could you not use m3u4u and have the one epg which would cover UK and US in each playlist?

EDIT: Sorry just seen it’s been mentioned earlier.
