What is the best box?

by _Rama_

Hello,

I have a subscription on IPTV. I can read this latter on my iPhone or my Macintosh with some applications. It was pretty good.

I want to get a box in order to read IPTV on my TV without taking my computer. I have a SmartTV but the store of this latter is too bad, applications don’t work at all... So, the best option is to buy a box.

I’m French and I’m living in France. I want a box where I can read IPTV all channels (more precisely all sports channel) and if it’s possible a box where Amazon Prime / Netflix WORK!

Someone can explain me how it works? I have to change my subscription? What is the best box to suit at my needs?

Thanks a lot!

You can always get a SkyStream PRO 8K Streaming Media Player

Wait for the official Google Android TV dongle that's suppose to be coming out. Xiaomi is also coming out with a Android TV stick (firestick competitor).

So it works without this function?

If your IPTV subscription provides an m3u playlist, you can pick just about any Android box. You can go for a Minix Android (TV) box that often gets frequent updates or also one of those cheap Vontar boxes you can by through AliExpress that only gets one or two updates at most. Just get one with at least 2GB of memory and good WiFi (AC)

Mi box s / mi tv stick

If you want Prime & Netflix in HD or 4k you need to make sure that whatever box you get is 'google certified' and running the Google TV OS.

Anything else will only play Prime & Netflix in SD.

As has already been said, Mi Box S or Nvidia Shield OR Mecool do Google certified boxes for less. You can get them on the usual chinese sites, AliExpress, banggood etc.
