Just two questions

by Rezlef

Hi,

I'm quite new on reddit and in the world of IPTV.

I'm here with two questions :

  • Which one is the best android tv app (free or at least with a free trial) ?

  • Is their a way to edit my M3U link to have less channels? Like.. I just would like to have the channels from my country, no VOD or weird iraqi 3am porn

Thank you for the help guys!

My personal favorite is Tivimate: free to use and $5/year or $20 lifetime for all the features you’ll want. In Playlist settings, you can hide the groups and channels.

M3u4u.com will let you edit your channel list and it's free tivimate is by far the best Android TV app 5 dollar a year for 5 devices but yeah tivimate is the way to go trust me. Ps OTT Navigator is a great android app also

XCIPTV is my favorite on Android TV. Iptv Extreme is on the same level and gives you more options (read with VLC).

Also pretty sure you can edit your channel list on the apps.

Note that I'm also a newbie.

Just try diff apps. None are perfect its all personal preference. Lots of free ones to use.

Many sellers will have their own hardcoded app (usually XCIPTV/Smarters/LTQ), so when you sign up for a trial, they'll generally give you a link for a filelinked store, so you can download the apps to try.

Whilst you could edit your M3U, Most providers will include groups, so when you go in to the TV section, you can just scroll to the group for your country, or if it is Uk/US, there will be a few groups splitting things in to entertainment/documentaries/sport/etc - so you won't have to scroll through thousands of channels to find what you are after, just jump to the correct group.

Hope this helps! :-)

I don't know what app you are using for IPTV but many of them will let you edit your channels and groups within the app. Some providers offer a playlist editor.

ImPlayer is fantastic. Free version to try.
