Stbemu pro is a copy of mag box software and is meant to be used with a mag box remote which has the 4 color buttons etc on it. You can’t get full functionality out of stock firestick remotes, you are better off with a programmable remote (like Harmony) or with a different iptv app.
Go into the STBEmu’s settings and under remote you can map the fire stick remote’s buttons to whatever you want. I mapped my forward and back buttons to be normal forward and reverse but I mapped the pause button to be pause for short press and Yellow for long press. Works great
What are u using stb emu on?? ??? Is it android box or on actual firetv stick ...I m using firetv 4k remote with my android tv box and also on firetv 4k stick and play/pause/ff/rw working on VOD by default...i know programing the blue/yellow/red buttons requires some key mapping but i dont need that.so yeah basic stuff works...have u tried re-loading the app?
All the play/stop/ff/rewind/info etc functions can be mapped to a key or long press key. There are lot of videos on youtube to walk you through or you can just use trial-n-error method.

Try implayer, works great with your fire remote.
