Since I dont get a answer to fix a problem with STB Emu Pro. I want to switch to TiviMate, but that use M3U url. I found a mac to m3u converter from ERDesigns. Is that safe? Or can the steal my info? Anyone did this before with no problems? Thank you!

I use Tivimate Premium V2.8.5 on a Nvidia Shield Pro 2019.
I have used MAG converter to M3U at https://iptv.community/threads/mag-converter-to-m3u.8261/#
You put in your providers URL and your registered MAC address and it generates a Username and a Password.
You can then put these together to make a m3u URL or use them for the Xtream codes Playlist entry method.
With my current provider details I tried the former but got "Error" when entering the playlist in Tivimate.
I then did the latter and I get all the groups, EPG, catchup and VOD views correctly. I even get to see my account subscription end date details correctly. It all looks really good.
It does everything except actually play anything.
This must be because the MAC address of the Shield is incorrect. I have looked at spoofing it using the "ip link set" command but it says forbidden. I don't want to Root my Shield.
Any suggestions.
It will only "convert" if the account is provisioned for m3u access in the first place. If your provider only supports stalker (MAC) access, or m3u access isn't enabled for your account, it won't magically make it work.
