Tivimate vs Jellyfin Live TV

Question

I've just jumped on the IPTV train & I was testing out the streams on a Jellyfin server while I wait for my Shield (2019) to come in the mail. So far I really like the interface in Jellyfin & I was wondering if I should just use that instead of Tivimate. Can anyone with experience using Jellyfin on the Shield chime in if I'd be missing out on any features?

Only caveat is that the shield setup is for my parents so I'm looking to keep things as clean/user friendly as possible.

Jellyfin is good but carnt compete with a straight up client for iptv

It's not really comparable. TiviMate will be so much faster zapping and supports multi-view etc.

Try Televizo. It's great for Android phones, and also good for TV. r/Televizo

Have you used IM player?
