Encoder in AWS

Hi folks, I'm assisting a client in a IPTV system implementation. This is completely new for me, I'm in the networking field. Currently we have a dedicated link from where we are getting multicast traffic that goes direct to the LAN interface (input) of the existing physical encoder. The encoder is configured to send the traffic to wowza streaming engine in AWS. Im.not sure after wowza what happens. Here is the thing, they want to move the encoder also to AWS. People that send the multicast traffic advised that we may need an AWS Direct Connect in order to feed the multicast traffic to AWS. Our client asked me to implement the encoder in AWS using MediaStore and MediaLive. I am not sure that's the way to go, as far as I understand, the current physical encoder is receiving multicast traffic.and then after process it, it sends it to wowza. The AWS MediaLive doesn't seem to be able to receive multicast traffic at all, at least I couldn't see a way. So, Has anyone implemented an encoder in AWS able to receive that multicast traffic??? Is MediaLive and MediaStore the way to do that????

I think no, gstreamer can handle multicast. We have implementation for AWS and multicast.
