OK so i'm playing around with M3U4U hoping to create a cleaner playlist with just the channels I want with logos, etc.
My question is the provider has lots of duplicate channels, some that don't work or are in SD, I want to make sure im only adding the best one/the one with EPG date to my custom playlist but dont know the best way to double check that. Is it best to just manually check as I go? Is there a simpler way to do what I want to do?

Dude you're stuck with manual looking up each one. Usually you can start to see a pattern with the naming conventions and know which ones will be more stable.
You can also create a different folder for the ones that aren't as stable.
