M3U playlists streams randomly stop working

Question

I’m new to the IPTV scene and I have noticed that streams from an M3U playlist randomly stop working. My IPTV provider supports Xtream code login and the channels ALAWAYS work via xtream login but break with M3u playlist.

It doesn’t matter the player I use, they all just stop working. What causes this?

My issue is that I am leveraging m3u4u to customize my playlist and also the EPG because my providers epg is not that great and it looks like I cannot use and xtream playlist and m3u4u epg in my TiviMate app. The channels don’t seem to update.

I don't use m3u4u (nothing is really free) but if they're relaying the stream vs just providing the EPG info that is just wrong. It could be that your provider doesn't like this redirection of the streams, assuming this is the case.
