Mag Formuler... I’m confused

I need your help guys as I’m getting confused.

Over the past years I’ve tried different boxes an different apps and now I feel the need to impove the way I watch my IPTV.

My issues:

  • with 4000 channels and VOD movies I find it hard to scroll through channels. I need something with a great interface and good layout (similar to mytvonline that formuler provides - just watched on YouTube but looks amazing)
  • possibly recording functionality
  • epg support
  • automatic updates of the list (no more manual m3u pair changing)

What do you suggest guys? What should I go with?

Go with the Formuler Z8, I recently upgraded to one and it's great. It checks off every point you listed, just make sure to get a bigger USB stick or hard drive for recording.

Depending on what you want, I personally use an Nvidia Shield TV as my media center. It runs on Android, and has all the apps i need like TiviMate, YouTube, Netflix, Plex, Etc...

it sounds like you already know what u want. get a Formuler.. Go with the Z8, Alpha, or Neo, depending on your budget. . the GUI for vod is great. and with channels you can disable whole groups of unwanted channels as well as make favorite lists so you only have the channels you want.

Get a decent android box and get Tivimate premium preferably or iMPlayer for more of a formuler MyTVOnline look but lower overall quality app than Tivimate. That'll solve all your problems.

Z8 has it all Gig a bit port Optical audio input Ant the remote is sturdy

The alph is the low end very basic and the remote is cheap

They both use the dol software

The z8 is the best to me

Stick to Linux stalker based iptv much more stable so you can use formuler z8 or buzz or mag or mag hybrid

if you want content rich, then go with xtream which much less stable and often get hacked or server crash, most Linux stalker has multiple servers for redundancy load balancing.

I jist bought the 4k fire stick today and took it back

Its okay if you have never had a real iptv box.

I put iptv smarters on the fire stick. It works but you don't get the full experience like the z8

Z8 is as close to a real sub you will get.

You can page up and down the epg You can recall the last 10 channels you watch. You can hook a hard drive to it easily

The 4k stick is basic You can watch tv....but there is no page up and down on the epg.....so one at a time takes a while.

No channel recall.

So ya its a budget device.
